Coastal Carolina Riverwatch (CCRW) is a grassroots organization driven by the voices of the coast and working through community collaboration to protect water quality and coastal habitat.
CCRW is powered by the generosity of supporters and carried out by a highly efficient and skilled team. A committed leadership group, leading experts in science and research, engaged local officials and industry professionals, volunteer legal advisors, experienced captains and pilots, academic collaborators, sustainable business leaders, and passionate local stewards all play a crucial role in achieving CCRW’s mission.

Mission and Details
CCRW’s mission is to protect the quality of water and quality of life in coastal North Carolina.
The Riverwatch serves across coastal North Carolina with a focus on the White Oak River Basin in Carteret and Onsolow Counties. This area includes over 320 miles of rivers and streams, 140,104 acres of estuaries, and 129 miles of coastline.
