ENGAGING THE NEXT GENERATION

Every year, the Coastal Federation’s team of trained environmental educators connect local youth to the coast through engaging, hands-on learning programs. Place-based
lessons bring standard science curriculum to life through real-world applications and examples that resonate with students. The Federation’s education program work with local schools as well as community partners to cultivate the next generation of environmental champions, with a focus on those students who need it the most.
Your Coins For Conservation donations will support the Federation’s work on the coast, including our environmental educators’ efforts in expanding the hearts and minds of
hundreds of students throughout the region, through hands-on classroom learning and field trips to local outdoor classrooms such as Cape Lookout, Hammocks Beach State Park, and others.
